Key Illinois Fluorescent Ban Deadlines
- January 1, 2026 The sale of screw-base and bayonet-base compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) is now prohibited in Illinois.
- January 1, 2027 The ban will expand to include pin-base compact fluorescent lamps and linear fluorescent lamps.
